New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Montrezl Harrell posted his fourth straight double-double in No. 4 Louisvilles 94-74 win over Indiana in Game 2 of the Jimmy V Classic from Madison Square Garden. Harrell shot 10-of-13, finishing with 21 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cardinals (8-0) remain unbeaten. Terry Rozier scored a game-high 26 points and Chris Jones stuffed the stat sheet with 24, nine rebounds and five assists. Wayne Blackshear added 14 points. James Blackmon Jr. led four Hoosiers in double figures with 18 points. Indiana (7-2) had its three-game win streak snapped. I hope we learn a lot from this (loss), Indiana head coach Tom Crean said. Four different Hoosiers scored during a 9-0 flurry to open the second half. Jones was the catalyst leading the Cardinals back, scoring seven straight before Rozier canned a 3-ball that gave Louisville a six-point lead at 58-52. After Emmitt Holts putback layup at 11:13 of the second half, Indiana went 4 1/2 minutes without scoring. Troy Williams free throws at 6:46 finally ended the drought, but Rozier hit again from deep to open up Louisvilles largest lead of the game, 76-62. The Cardinals led by at least 10 the rest of the way and made the final score look crooked by sinking 11-of-12 from the foul line in the final 2:07. It was tied at 16 6 1/2 into the game following Robert Johnsons triple when the Cardinals began to take control. Harrell went on a personal 6-0 run on a putback dunk, a slam in transition and a sloppy Indiana inbounds pass that led to his explosive two-handed dunk. Indiana turned it over again out of a timeout and Louisville had five looks at the basket thanks to four offensive boards before Jaylen Johnson drew a foul and split a pair of free throws. Indiana regrouped and hit five of its next eight shots out of a timeout. Max Hoetzels triple had the Hoosiers within a point, 30-29. Louisvilles lead stretched into double figures after that, with the Cardinals netting 14 of the next 16 points. But once again, Indiana responded, closing the half on a 10-2 run. Nick Zeisloft hit a pair of 3s during the stretch and it was 46-41 at the break. We havent been able to play this style in awhile, where you just go up and down like a ping pong match, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino said. We were more than happy to do it, and it was exciting. Thats how the Ravens won when Ryan was their defensive co-ordinator from 2005-08, and that is precisely the formula Baltimore used to beat Ryans New York Jets on Sunday.ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- It looks like Peyton Manning will have to attend his homecoming at Indianapolis on Sunday without the two massive tackles he started the season with. The Broncos are holding out hope that right tackle Orlando Franklin, who sprained his left knee and ankle Sunday, wont be sidelined for an extended time like All-Pro left tackle Ryan Clady, who landed on IR last month with a foot injury. Coach John Fox provided no updates on Franklin, who went for an MRI exam Monday, or defensive lineman Sylvester Williams (neck). At the very least, it looks like Franklin will miss the Colts game, however. He limped through the locker room Monday with a walking boot on his left foot when he came out of the meeting room and was holding crutches, but not using them. He needed a cane to hobble out of the stadium Sunday night after Denvers 35-19 won over Jacksonville. Franklin got hurt early in the third quarter when he was caught in the pile on Knowshon Morenos first of three touchdown runs. Its been a difficult year for the men who protect Manning. The Broncos (6-0) lost centres J.D. Walton and Dan Koppen to injuries last summer, leaving the job to Manny Ramirez, who had never started at centre before this season and whos still working out the kinks. His two bad exchanges with Manning on Sunday were both recovered by the Jaguars (0-6). After Franklin got hurt with 12:16 left in the third quarter, Chris Kuper came in at right guard and Louis Vasquez moved to right tackle for the first time in his career. Franklins absence affected the play calling of offensive co-ordinator Adam Gase and Manning, although Denver had two touchdown drives capped by Moreno runs behind the makeshift offensive line. "I thought Adam did a good job calling plays with Vasquez," Manning said. "Im not sure hees ever played right tackle before.dddddddddddd. It kind of changes the way I think about audibles and things like that when youve got a new right tackle." Despite the revolving door of offensive linemen, Manning has been sacked only five times, the fewest in the league for any QB whos started all his teams games. For however long it lasts, Franklins absence could have a big impact on the Broncos, whose 265 points are the most by a team through six games in league history. They could stick with Kuper-Vasquez again on the right side or they could move Vasquez back to right guard, where hes started all 60 of his career games, and insert eighth-year pro Winston Justice, who was inactive Sunday, at right tackle. Justice, who started 13 games for the Colts last season and signed as a free agent with Denver after Clady got hurt in Week 2, has quickly gotten up to speed and could step in Sunday if needed, Fox said. "Hes had plenty of time to learn our verbiage and our offence," said Fox. Franklin has started all 44 games, including playoffs, since the Broncos made him a second-round pick in 2011 out of Miami. Notes: Walton, who had a setback in his comeback from ankle surgery and underwent another operation in June, is eligible to return to practice this week. ... The Broncos wont have to make a roster move until Saturday to get Von Miller back on the 53-man roster. The team has a roster exemption until then for its star linebacker whose six-game suspension ended Monday. ... With Denver and Kansas City tied atop the AFC West, this marks the first time in 79 years that two teams from the same division started 6-0. The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears, then members of the NFLs Western Division, started out 10-0 in 1934. Neither of those teams went on to win the championship. ' ' '
