The Anaheim Ducks continue at the top of the TSN.ca NHL Power Rankings, but there werent a lot of changes at the top, with the same top five as the previous week. After that, however, there was plenty of movement. The Tampa Bay Lightning, continuing to follow the lead of goaltender Ben Bishop and defenceman Victor Hedman, have reached the Top 10, up from 11 to 8, after going 4-1-1 in their past six games. Surprisingly, the Carolina Hurricanes are up three, to 11, with wins in four of their past five games and strong work in goal from Anton Khudobin. With one loss in the past seven games, the Winnipeg Jets have climbed, from 20 to 15, while the New Jersey Devils are up from 21 to 16, despite their Stadium Series loss to the New York Rangers Sunday. Also moving up, the Dallas Stars, who had plummeted during a one-win-in-10-games slump, won three games by a combined 14-1 score to jump up to 19 from 24. Heading the other way, the Vancouver Canucks, minus Henrik Sedin, slide from nine to 14, and the free-falling Montreal Canadiens crash from 10 to 17. Washington snapped a seven-game winless slide by beating Montreal Saturday, yet the Capitals fall leaves them at 21, from 16. The Philadelphia Flyers, with two wins in their past nine games and outscored 14-5 in three games last week, fell from 19 to 24. It should be noted that spots 18 through 25 are extremely close in the rankings right now. Among the rest of the Canadian teams, the Ottawa Senators keep spinning their wheels and drop, from 17 to 20; the Toronto Maple Leafs move up one spot, to 22; the Edmonton Oilers lose a couple spots, to 28, one ahead of the Calgary Flames, holding steady at 29. The Pistons led 82-66 going into the fourth quarter, but the NBAs worst fourth-quarter team collapsed once again down the stretch. Jarrett Jack hit a 3-pointer to pull the Cavaliers within 96-90 with 2:49 left, and his short jumper made it a four-point game with 90 seconds to play. After a bad Brandon Jennings miss, Jack drove the lane and hit a floater while being fouled. His free throw made it 96-95 with 53.8 seconds left and completed a personal 8-0 run. Cleveland coach Mike Brown wasnt ready to give one player credit for the rally. "For us to come back and keep our composure -- thats what championship teams do," he said. Thats when Brown and Pistons coach John Loyer matched up in a duel of wits, calling four straight timeouts before the ball was put in play. Singler and Jennings both had 11 points in the half, while Anderson Varejao came off the bench to get eight points and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers. The Pistons got off to another quick start in the third, once again controlling the game with Varejao on the sidelines. Smith and Greg Monroe combined for 18 points in the quarter, as the Pistons were able to pound the ball inside, and Jennings hit a 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left to give Detroit the 16-point lead going into the fourth. "We had things the way we wanted them, but they got more aggressive against our pick-and-roll, and we started rushing things," said Jennings, who went 0-4 in the fourth.
