The Premier League is heading back north of the border for night seven in Glasgow and Wayne Mardle has made his predictions. Premier League leader Michael van Gerwen will take on second-placed Phil Taylor, while defending champion Gary Anderson has been handed a double-header at The SSE Hydro, live on Sky Sports. But who does Mardle think will be the winners and losers? Gary Anderson v Adrian Lewis Gary Anderson defeated Adrian Lewis in this years World Championship final This is a rematch of the PDC World Championship final and Gary got the better of Adrian on that occasion, but I just dont know what to make of Gary. Some days he looks like the world champ he is and other days he just doesnt seem at the races. Last week, he was superb against Michael Smith, but so was Adrian Lewis in his win over Peter Wright. I do think it could be a tough night for Gary Anderson. He was so nervous in Aberdeen and the reception he got was incredible. But Ive got a feeling that hes going to struggle. The way he played last week, I think Lewis is a man on a mission and is gunning for a play-off spot and will this by the odd leg.Prediction: Im going to go against Anderson and pick Adrian Lewis to win the opening match.James Wade v Robert Thornton James Wade edged out Raymond van Barneveld in a tense clash last week Robert Thornton, away from the big stage, has been playing poorly and Ive been mentioning it every week. I still dont think Robert is 100 per cent right, I dont think hes fit. When he gets a chance, he lacks composure because those chances are so few and far between. He has lost 7-0 twice this season alone and nothing is going right for him.I cannot see any reason why that run will end against James Wade. To be honest, Wade like a lot of them, Im not sure what to make of them this season. Anderson, Adrian Lewis and James Wade have been up and down, but what James has got is a game which allows him to play poorly and still win. Whereas a few of the others, Lewis to name just one, cannot do that.James has been playing as good as ever, but maybe just a tad inconsistent.Prediction: Wade will complete a comfortable victory. Michael van Gerwen v Phil Taylor Van Gerwen has performed well against Taylor in recent months These two have played each other already six times this year. Six times! Were only in March. There is no way that Michael van Gerwen is sick of the sight of Phil Taylor, because he keeps getting the better of him. He has won nine of the last 10, Van Gerwen. No one on the planet has ever had a record like that and no one has beaten Phil Taylor more.I cannot see a Taylor win here, I cannot. I think the Phil will get the more hostile reaction, with it being in Scotland. I think they will go for the Green Machine. Hes the only man in the history of darts to have withstood The Power. Wayne Mardle on Michael van Gerwen There are a couple of things that might be bothering Phil Taylor. When he gets in front, Michael doesnt falter he just fights back. He knows that Michael will not buckle and I think that actually puts Phil off. Michael is the only man in the history of darts to have withstood The Power. I think Michael wins, hes on the crest of the wave, and knows hes the best player on the planet and will want to show it.Prediction: Michael will take the win over Taylor. Michael van Gerwen plays Phil Taylor in a stunning top-of-the-table clash on Thursday night as Premier League Darts heads to Glasgow Raymond van Barneveld v Dave Chisnall Raymond van Barneveld has lost his last three matches in the Premier League We have mentioned that a few players have been inconsistent, well these two just sum it up. Ive got no idea with Barney and I dont think he does either. He looks as if hes up for it and if you were to say: Raymond, you are just about to fight David Haye, he would say yeah, okay. Two minutes later you look at him and think whats happened? The Premier League is heading back to Glasgow, so we looked back at last year’s epic encounter between Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld I just think he has a confidence crisis and sometimes he cannot get out of it. If he turns up with the swagger and strut we know, he can achieve anything. But I think Chizzy is the more reliable of the two - and I cannot believe Ive just said that.Prediction: Im going to go with Chisnall to win, because I feel he is playing to a higher level every game.Gary Anderson v Peter Wright Peter Wright is targeting his fourth win of the campaign If Peter Wright changes his darts again, then I will be annoyed. Like I said, I think its going to be a difficult night for Gary Anderson. Two real tough games.Wright has averaged 108 and 106 the last two weeks, and he won a tournament at the weekend. If he plays like he has been, can he possibly lose with a 107 average? I dont think so. It doesnt mean hes going to average 107, but the way he has been playing, hell think he can win this.In Glasgow, the expectation on Gary is going to be immense and I think it might be too emotionally draining for him as he plays first and last. Ive already gone for a Lewis win and I think that knock of confidence will play a part in the game against Wright.Prediction: I think Wright will sneak this in a last-leg thriller.Watch Premier League Darts on Thursday live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 7pm. UCLA (6-2, 3-2 Pac-12) squandered a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter as Colorado tied the game on a 35-yard field goal by Will Oliver with 36 seconds remaining. The teams traded field goals in the first OT. The Bruins then stopped the Buffaloes (2-6, 0-5) in the second OT and they settled for a 34-yarder from Oliver. Hundley faked a handoff and went into the end zone untouched for the winning score. The junior quarterback rushed for 110 yards. Hundley also threw for 200 yards and one TD pass, giving him 67 in his career and moving him one away from tying Cade McNown for most in program history. Paul Perkins rushed for 180 yards and two TDs, including a 92-yard score in the first quarter. Sefo Liufau finished with two TD passes. He has 23 TD passes this year and broke Koy Detmers single-season mark. Once again, Colorado struggled at the start, falling behind 17-0 after the first quarter. Last weekend at USC, the Buffaloes were behind 28-0 after the opening 15 minutes on their way to a 56-28 drubbing. This time, they rallied. BOULDER, Colo. -- The winning play wasnt actually designed for Brett Hundley to run with the ball. Try telling him that in the huddle, though. The junior quarterback saw something he liked -- a defensive lineman crashing the play -- faked the handoff and scored untouched on an 8-yard keeper in double overtime to give No. 25 UCLA a 40-37 victory over Colorado on Saturday. One thing were really good at is being resilient, Hundley said. The teams traded field goals in the first OT. The Bruins then stopped the Buffaloes (2-6, 0-5) in the second OT and they settled for a 34-yarder from Oliver. The play call was for Hundley to hand it off. He saw the defence biting, took the ball back and coasted in for the winning score. Hundley finished with 110 yards rushing. He also threw for 200 yards and one TD pass, giving him 67 in his career and moving him one away from tying Cade McNown for most in program history. He struggled with his accuracy on a breezy day, his passes sailing and soaring on him. Nothing wrong with his speed, though -- or his improvisation skills at the end. In those tough times as a QB, you have to be able to lead your offence, Hundley said. Paul Perkins had a big day, too, rushing for 180 yards and two TDs, including a 92-yard score on the teams first play from scrimmage. That play tied for the second-longest run in school history. The longest was 93 by Chuck Cheshire against Montana in 1934. Sefo Liufau finished with two TD passes for the Buffaloes. He has 23 TD passes this year and broke Koy Detmers single-season school mark. Once again, Colorado struggled at the start, falling behind 17-0 after the first quarter. Last weekend at USC, the Buffaloes were behind 28-0 after the opening 15 minutes on their way to a 56-28 drubbing. This time, they rallied. Only, it ended up in another wrenching loss for the Buffaloes, who lost at Cal in double overtime last month. Id like to have some boring games and win them instead of some of the exciting games and keep losing them, Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre said. Down 31-14 late in the third after a short score by Myles Jack, Colorado climbed back into the game behind the right arm of Liufau, who connected with Bryce Bobo for TDs of 38 and 3 yards. Liufau was leading another drive when Marcus Rios thwarted it with an interception. Colorado got the ball back after stuffing UCLA on fourth down. The Buffaloes went on a nine-play, 59-yard drive that culminated with a 35-yard field goal from Oliver. Colorado suffered a big loss in OT when safety Tedric Thompson was injured on a play. He was strapped to aa back board and taken off the field in a cart.dddddddddddd. He lifted his hands and covered his face as he exited the stadium to applause. The Bruins led 24-14 at halftime, pushing the teams record to 22-0 under coach Jim Mora when they go into the locker room ahead. Theyre also 12-4 under Mora in true road games. We wanted to see what overtime felt like, Mora joked. You know, keeping it interesting. ... Were not perfect, got a lot of growing to do, but we are resilient. Unlike last weekend, the Buffaloes worked their way back into the game after falling behind early. Trailing 24-7 late in the second, they kept a drive going when Ishmael Adams interception was negated by a pass interference penalty. On the next play, Jack snuffed out a trick play by intercepting a pass from receiver Nelson Spruce. That turnover also was negated by a defensive penalty. Mora was incensed on the sideline, ripping off his hat as he complained to the officials. The Buffaloes took advantage when Michael Adkins weaved his way in from 17 yards to make it a 10-point game. Colorado had a chance to climb even closer after pouncing on a Hundley fumble deep in UCLA territory. With 24 seconds left, the Buffs thought receiver D.D. Goodson got out of bounds after a catch at the 4. He didnt and the clock was moving. Unaware, and with no timeouts, Liufau tried to assemble the offence and right tackle Stephane Nembot jumped offside, leading to a time runoff and ending the half. MacIntyre buried his face in his hands in frustration. Its my fault on that, MacIntyre said after the game. However, a penalty at the end of the first half loomed large for Colorado. The Buffaloes had the ball at the 4, but were called for a false start that ended the half without running a final play. On their first play from scrimmage, Perkins headed left, found a seam and scampered 92 yards down the sideline for a score. That play tied for the second-longest run in school history.
