On Friday, they brought in another veteran, this one with a serious pedigree.According to Close, Personal Friend of The Daily Norseman Tom Pelissero™, the Vikings hosted former Top 10 pick Morris Claiborne for a workout on Friday.Claiborne was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, and spent his first five seasons there. In 2017 Adam Thielen Jersey , he signed with the New York Jets, where he’s spent the past two seasons.Claiborne has been a bit of a disappointment for a Top 10 overall selection, as he’s gathered just seven interceptions in his career. He’s also dealt with some injury issues, including a torn patellar tendon that caused him to miss most of the 2014 season and a groin injury that forced him to miss about half of the 2016 season.Still, Mike Zimmer likes his veteran cornerbacks, and much like when the team worked our Orlando Scandrick earlier this week, they’re likely just doing some research and weighing their options in the event that Hughes is not ready for the start of the season and they need some more depth in the defensive backfield.
