Yeah but at least they've had actual reasons to train for each of the useful things they can add in their PoH. Rs3 the only reason to train construction would be for quest reqs or max. RS3 has more reasons to train construction than only the POH. We construct other things in a lot of Player Owned content that OSRS does not have. We now have Player Owned Ports, Farms, Slayer Dungeon, Researchers, Machine and so on.
And they said on flow they're arranging a construction update for after this season! For once I will actually disagree. I am impressed by what they showed on stream, so I'll give them credit where it is due. I think at this point though I've lost interest in playing regularly and I will only do Orthen the pursuit. I'll give them credit if they really release this season, which would be the first time in years.
It's funny because osrs currently has wintertod and zolcano Skilling managers that are pretty popular content. I would assert the OSRS team also has a severe lack of vision. Every upgrade will align with PvM/Slayer one way or another. Why do we need combat bosses for non combat skills? What's wrong with bunch mini games? IMO this is actually the product of employing an entire generation of Devs that only knows PvM and nothing outside of it. Hell, even the Mahogany Homes update is only building which uses the Slayer job based program.
You do not use battle to kill Todt/Zalcano. They could damage you, which I guess is like them being in combat with you, but I'd say that's part of what makes it a boss. Right, and I am saying why do we want that for non battle abilities? Why does everything have to have a supervisor? Big game hunter is a great illustration of just what a skilling boss could be in my view.
Because a game with 28 skills should also have tough and rewarding end game material for gamers who aren't into PvM. Why do you think that it's a terrible thing for your other 2/3 of this sport to have endgame articles? Completely agree. I love PvM and am a PvM'er in your mind and even I'm saying enough is enough. In addition, I enjoy skilling and would love some type miniature games or non combat activities that I can also do which aren't focused around assaulting something or employing the slayer job system. The isn't well rounded at all and I'm not even certain the mods know how to create anything without the term"boss" in it at this stage.
