Zenith Chronomaster Sport Polished Steel Bezel Metallic Blue Dial Zenith has added a new version to its Chronomaster Sport collection, a disruptive model series in the field of modern sports chronographs.
This model series was added to the catalog of this renowned brand in 2021 and has quickly become one of the strong competitors in the luxury sports chronograph segment. Offering different dial options as well as materials and strap/bracelet options, this collection is once again presented to watch lovers today with a new model.
The new model generally follows the design details of the concept car launched in 2021. The steel case measures 41 mm in diameter and 13.60 mm in height, and the bezel is made of steel rather than ceramic. The bezel is equipped with a black filled tachymeter scale on a glossy background, adding a touch of retro flavor to the watch. The sports case uses a double-sided anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal glass on the front, a stainless steel cover on the back, and is equipped with a sapphire crystal display. The 100-meter waterproof performance can also accompany users in simple water activities. value.
Another notable innovation in the latest version of the series is in the dial section. The Tri-Compax chronograph dial with sunray background pattern is a blue exclusive to this model. The time is read via rhodium-plated faceted hands and appliquéd hour markers. The chronograph functions are monitored via triple subdials in shades of grey, anthracite and blue. The date window at 4:30 maintains the integrity of the dial with its tone-on-tone color choice, while components with Super-LumiNOVA phosphor ensure adequate legibility even in low-light environments.
Like previous versions of the series, the new watch is powered by the Caliber El Primero 3600 movement. The automatic movement that typifies today's El Primero chronograph movements and has become a trademark of the brand runs at 5 Hz (36,000 bph) and has a power reserve of up to 60 hours when fully wound. Equipped with a column wheel coordinator, this exquisite movement, unlike any other in the industry, can time its timing functions to an accuracy of 1/10th of a second.
The new model joins the Standard (Non-Restricted) collection, featuring a three-link steel bracelet and a deployant clasp with the familiar Zenith logo we’ve seen on past versions.
