Hull boss Steve Bruce insists his players will give no thought to the estimated £200m winners prize up for grabs in Saturdays Sky Bet Championship play-off final against Sheffield Wednesday once out on the pitch. Bruce is one game away from guiding the Tigers straight back to the Premier League after relegation last season and ranks it as one of the biggest in his career as either player or manager. The jackpot for Championship winners has risen dramatically in recent years but Bruce says performing on the biggest stage and not the huge potential windfall is what motivates his players. This of course ranks up with the biggest for a long, long time because of whats at stake, Bruce told the media at the KC Stadium on Tuesday ahead of Saturdays game, which can be seen live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 4pm.If you can get into the Premier League now, it can really secure your club with the amount of money which is washing about, its quite unbelievable. So for a club like us, it would make a big difference. But the one thing about a footballer, the ones Ive got used to, the one thing they dont worry about when they go on to a pitch is money. All this its a £200m game... for them, its to perform on the biggest stage and whos going to be the hero if there is going to be one.Bruce won promotion to the top flight twice with former club Birmingham, once via the play-offs, and steered Hull to automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of his first season in charge in 2013.No other manager has achieved four promotions to the Premier League. When asked how he will handle the pressure, Bruce said: You wake up on the Saturday morning and you put yourself into action. You start. Its part of what you do. Highlights of Hulls 1-0 win over Bristol City in the 2008 Championship play-off final Ive been fortunate, near enough to 1,000 (games) as a player and something like 800 as a manager and in among that lot Ive had a few big games. Its a huge game for obvious reasons and over the years the play-offs have been dramatic and have they been going for 30 years now someone told me? I was shocked at that.Theyve made the end of the season a truly great spectacle so big game, big occasion and you can obviously detect that when you see everybody here in the room.Bruce also guided Hull to the FA Cup final in 2014 when they lost 3-2 to Arsenal and hopes his players can call on their big-game experience. Highlights of Hulls 3-0 semi-final first-leg win at Derby in the Championship playoffs Weve got a squad that has been there before in the last couple of years, lets hope thats a bit of an advantage, he added.Weve got some good players and lets hope we can achieve what we want to achieve.Bruce, who admitted he had not heard of Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal before this season, said the Portuguese had put together the South Yorkshire clubs best side that he could remember. The Tigers boss also confirmed goalkeeper Allan McGregor (back) will not recover in time but every other outfield player was fit and in contention.Watch Hull City against Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final on Saturday, live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 4pm. NEW YORK -- Patrick McEnroe, hosting the on-court trophy presentation, joked with Jamie Murray that they had something in common.Murray and his partner Bruno Soares had just seen off Spaniards?Pablo Carreno Busta and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2, 6-3 to lift the US Open mens doubles title, on another brutally humid afternoon at Flushing Meadows.Like his younger brother, Murray is now a three-time Grand Slam champion, but he achieved something Andy Murray has never done by winning a second Grand Slam in a single year. Its nice. Im starting to move out of his shadow a little bit, but theres a long way to go, quipped Jamie. Andys had a great year reaching three Grand Slam finals. Winning Wimbledon was huge. He couldnt win this one but I did, so yeah, get it up you, Andy!Jamies comments may have been lighthearted ?-- I havent looked at my phone actually since we came off court, so see what Andy says, he later said with a mischievous grin in his press conference -- but throughout his career he has had to deal with seeing his brother take most of the limelight.Over the last few years, seeing him do so well all the time, Ive been wanting to have some of that success, as well, Jamie added. I think the last 18 months have started to really show what I can do on the tennis court. I hope that it will continue. The brothers from Dunblane, Scotland were actually next to each other in the locker room at Flushing Meadows this year, before Andys shock quarterfinal singles defeat to Kei Nishikori,?and will reunite next week to continue their Davis Cup title defence in the semifinal against Argentina in Glasgow.Weve been able to do a lot of amazing things in our lives onn a tennis court, said Jamie.dddddddddddd I guess when youre kind of living in a moment you dont always think about all that stuff. But if you take a moment and look at it, yeah, it is amazing what we have been able to do from a country of no history of tennis at all. I get quite emotional talking about it.Now a three-time major champion just like his brother, Jamie beat Andy in the race to win a first Grand Slam by claiming the mixed doubles title with Jelena Jankovic at Wimbledon in 2007.However, he tasted bitter defeats with then-partner John Peers in the mens doubles finals at the All England Club and the US Open last summer. The pair went their separate ways and Jamie joined forces with Soares at the start of this year -- they proved to be an instant hit, winning the Australian Open in Melbourne.I felt like Bruno was the guy that was going to help me achieve what I wanted to achieve on the doubles court, said Jamie. It was still a big decision to commit to not playing with John because we had a lot of success.I feel like Ive vindicated my decision, sitting here four Grand Slams later and weve won two of them.Jamie said he and Soares arrived in New York with a point to prove after both enduring a disappointing Olympics --?they are now the first mens doubles team to win multiple majors in a calendar year since the Bryan brothers in 2013.When asked if they could see each other staying together for a long time, a smiling Soares quickly said I hope so prompting laughter among the media. Cant do much more. Keep him with me. ' ' '
