The other player being signed is former San Diego Fleet safety Jordan Martin, according to Mike Garafolo. This will be Martin’s first NFL contract. He played his college ball with Toledo and played eight games with Syracuse. Martin has experience at the cornerback position, as he’s started in 14 games there while at Toledo. He made the move to Safety while with the Orange, where he started in five games. Martini joined the Green Bay Packers practice squad last season as a undrafted free agent. The 23-year-old played in all four preseason games where he recorded 13 tackles. Here’s an interception by Martini:Here’s an example of some good vision during last year’s preseason stint:The Vikings aren’t messing around with adding these AAF players.
