MONTREAL -- Montreal Impact defender Jeb Brovsky has undergone plastic surgery to repair six fractures to his nose from a collision in Wednesday nights game against the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Impact says Brovsky escaped damage to his facial bones but will be checked the next few days for a possible concussion. "The surgery went well and now he just needs the time to heal," Impact sporting director Nick De Santis said in a statement Thursday. "He puts everything onto the field every moment. When you play like Jeb does, these things can happen." Brovsky has played every minute of every game this season for the Impact. Wednesdays game finished at 0-0.
