You're right, the battle system isn't deep. That's unsuitable if a game has 5 stats dedicated to it entirely (and many stats ), they should have made it even more intriguing. They did not have to add action bars, they could have had, for instance, ability shots.As for the D&D contrast,
I really GM for a group of 5 people. Osrs gold RNG is just nothing like the RNG in D&D. It is in D&D mostly to prevent things from devolving into:"I struck it." "No you don't." Etc. It works because you're never fighting other gamers, so it is fair. And besides, the party should never be taking on a fight that could have them killed with a dice rolls that are bad. And of course that I can fudge dice rolls to make things but a video game should not be doing this.
But RNG that widespread has no place in PVP. It is one of the reasons why there's such a very low skill ceiling.It is true that I never did competitive PVP, but I did find a lot of PVP on the event that I would loot dead bodies in the wilderness, or the duel arena. It's static.
You simply stand there, and no quantity of skill will change that.I can still understand PVP problems the exact same way somebody can understand sports issues: Watching someone else who has put time in Buy Runescape gold performing high-level drama.
